As the first sentence mentions: “polarising on purpose”. People actually enjoy proving others to be “wrong” for whatever reasons. This approach is good for grabbing attention and getting devs to read the full story. Looking at the stats, it was so far my most read story by a long shot, although other articles are a lot more interesting (deep dives into certain areas of the technology / concepts).
